SWEET READS assists children in underserved and underfunded communities by providing free age appropriate books as well as conducting engaging literacy events. We believe that an early love of and engagement with reading, will assist the children we serve in every aspect of development. Academic performance, imagination, creativity, compassion and confidence can all be developed and strengthened through accessibility to age appropriate, diverse reading materials. SWEET READS partners with community organizations and schools to distribute the books to children to aid in their missions of strengthening early literacy and love of reading.
