About

Administers programs and services that preserve, promote and protect the culture and heritage of Somerset County. Prepares and administers art and history grant programs; Somerset County Teen Arts Program, Cultural and Heritage Art Gallery; annual Historic Preservation Awards Recognition Event; publishes the 'Cultural Connection' Calendar of Events/Newsletter; coordinates projects that affect historic sites with appropriate federal and state agencies; provides an arts outreach program to the underserved; maintains a comprehensive survey of all historic sites in Somerset County; and maintains and updates a directory of Somerset County Cultural and Historic Organizations.
