Headquartered in Woodbridge, NJ, our team strives each day to uphold our mission to be the financial institution of choice to individuals and businesses by delivering innovative financial products and exceptional customer service.   Northfield was founded in 1887 in Staten Island, NY as the Northfield Building and Loan Association and obtained its name from the Staten Island neighborhood in which we first opened our doors.  We provide a full range of financial solutions for both retail and commercial customers, including lending, cash management, digital banking, deposit, and investment solutions.   Much has changed over the past 140 years, but our focus on our core values of trust, respect, and excellence remains the foundation of our success.
