The SCBP Unveils the Grand Opening of The Somerset Business Hub

Somerset County, NJ - June 27, 2024 - The Somerset Business Hub celebrated its Grand Opening on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, with a crowd of prominent figures and partners integral to its establishment.
The Somerset County Commissioners, who played a pivotal role in investing in the space, were honored guests at the event. Commissioners Shanel Y. Robinson, Sara Sooy, Melonie Marano, Paul Drake, and Douglas Singleterry were recognized for their commitment with a commemorative plaque presented during the ceremony.
"We are grateful for the vision and support of the Somerset County Commissioners," said Chris Edwards, CEO/President of the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP). "Their investment has been crucial in making the Somerset Business Hub a reality".
Those in attendance of the grand opening event also included members of the Somerset County Business Partnership's Board, highlighting the collaborative effort that has brought this initiative to fruition, and the Moving Partners who helped SCBP’s vision come to life.
"We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rick St. Pierre and Verve for catering the event and Melissa Jenkins and BAM Desserts for delighting our guests with delicious cupcakes," added Edwards.
Attendees were treated to a special moment during Edwards' speech when a surprise video message from NJ Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way was unveiled. In her message, Lieutenant Governor Way congratulated the partnership on the opening of the Somerset Business Hub and praised the initiative's contribution to the local community.
Located in the heart of Somerville, NJ, the Somerset Business Hub aims to foster innovation and collaboration among local businesses, offering a state-of-the-art space designed to support growth and entrepreneurship in Somerset County.
