Tekie Geek: Staten Island IT Company Rises in 2025 Industry Rankings

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Tekie Geek, an Eltingville-based IT company, has been ranked #48 on the 2025 Channel Futures MSP 501 list, an industry ranking.

The company achieved its highest ranking in six years on the list, moving up 12 spots from its #60 position in 2024.

The MSP (Managed Service Providers) 501, hosted by Channel Futures, ranks managed service providers based on annual revenue, profit margins, and other confidential business metrics to identify leaders in the information technology industry.

“It’s a testament to our team’s relentless commitment to keeping our clients secure, supported, and one step ahead in an ever-evolving threat landscape,” said Mike Bloomfield, the company’s “president geek.”

“We wear our capes proudly—not just as the IT Superheroes of Cybersecurity, but as partners who empower our clients to thrive," he added.

The company provides cybersecurity solutions to businesses in the New York and New Jersey region. They offer managed IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, compliance services, and strategic consulting to help clients grow their businesses securely.

Tekie Geek has received other industry recognition as well, including being named one of ChannelPro’s Top 20 MSPs in the country last year and being selected as a finalist for Top MSP Titan in the Northeast by MSP Success Magazine, said Bloomfield.

The company employs approximately 18 team members, who are referred to as superheroes in keeping with their comic book style branding, with each person designated by their role and the title “geek.”

The company’s rise in rankings may be partly attributed to their adoption of artificial intelligence technologies, according to industry observers.

They have launched initiatives highlighting the benefits of AI software like ChatGPT for streamlining business efficiencies and integrating cloud computing with AI.

According to Channel Futures’ analysis of their 2025 rankings, companies across the list have implemented AI technologies as revenue generators or internal efficiency tools, reflecting a broader industry trend.

Beyond their technical services, Tekie Geek team members also work to improve their community through various initiatives.
