HILLSBOROUGH, N.J. – November 18, 2025 – Carriage Farm, home to Flounder Brewing Co. and Bellemara Distillery, is transforming into a holiday destination this season with “Christmas at Carriage Farm”—a multi-week celebration featuring a Christmas tree lot, amazing Kringle Market, live music, special beer releases, holiday cocktails and more.

Season-Long Experiences at Carriage Farm

Central Jersey Nurseries Christmas Tree Lot
The holiday festivities begin as the Central Jersey Nurseries Christmas Tree Lot opens on Thanksgiving Eve and will operate Thursdays through Sundays through Christmas. Families can browse trees, wreaths and greenery while taking in the season’s activities across the farm.

Flounder Brewing Holiday Offerings
Flounder Brewing is celebrating the season with a lineup of special holiday beer releases, debuting on Thanksgiving Eve and available throughout the Christmas season:

• St. Nick Christmas Ale
• Naughty St. Nick – rum barrel-aged Christmas Ale
• Ichabod’s Revenge – rum barrel-aged imperial pumpkin ale

These seasonal favorites are served inside Flounder Brewing’s historic 250-year-old barn tasting room, adding local holiday flavor to the farm’s festivities.

Bellemara Distillery Holiday Offerings
Bellemara Distillery is embracing the season with a selection of festive cocktail and tasting experiences:

• The Bellemara Holiday Cocktail Menu is officially live, featuring seasonal creations like the candy-cane-inspired Peppermintini, Cranberry Gin & Tonics, and Chai Espresso Martinis.
• Free tastings of Bellemara’s craft spirit lineup will be available on all Kringle Market days.
• The Bellemara Winter Igloo—a cozy, heated private space for groups up to six—is bookable up to 30 days in advance, providing an intimate winter cocktail experience on the farm.

Key Holiday Dates & Events

Thanksgiving Eve – Holiday Kickoff
The season officially begins Thanksgiving Eve when the Christmas Tree Lot opens, and Flounder Brewing hosts the Bryan Hansen Band from 6:00–9:00 p.m. (21+). Visitors can enjoy the holiday beer releases while experiencing live music and the start of Christmas at Carriage Farm and grabbing some food from Cousin’s Maine Lobster onsite.

Small Business Saturday – Mini Kringle Market Preview
On Small Business Saturday, Carriage Farm hosts a mini–Kringle Market preview, featuring:

• Six local makers
• Horsin’ Around Coffee & hot cocoa truck
• Endless Empanadas
• Flounder Brewing, Bellemara Distillery & the Christmas Tree Lot ALL open!

Guests can shop local and enjoy a taste of the larger Kringle Market set to arrive in mid-December.

Special Ticketed Shows in the Barn

December 9 – Die Hard - LIVE
“Die Hard – LIVE” brings together theatrical storytelling and vintage radio-show style performance in partnership with Raconteur Radio, celebrating Die Hard as a Christmas classic in humorous, high-energy fashion.
December 10 – Tony Trischka: Of A Winter’s Night
Banjo great Tony Trischka returns with a full band for two intimate seatings of his acclaimed holiday show as part of the Flounder’s House concert series.

December 13, 14, 20 & 21 – 5th Annual Flounder’s Kringle Market
The heart of Christmas at Carriage Farm is the 5th Annual Flounder’s Kringle Market, held 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.  The event features:

• 45+ makers & crafters
• Food trucks & snack vendors
• Brass band & carolers
• Santa inside the brewhouse for photos
• Buddy the Elf
• The Grinch (Saturdays only)
• Local dance company performances
• Beer, wine & hot spiked cider for sale by and benefitting Steps Together

The Central Jersey Nurseries Christmas Tree Lot remains open during market hours, creating a festive and immersive holiday experience.

Saturday Evenings During the Market – Holiday Music in the Barn
Each Saturday during the Kringle Market, Flounder Brewing keeps the celebration going with live holiday music starting at 4:30 p.m., transforming the Barn into a warm, twinkling gathering place for family and friends.

December 22 & 23 – A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas
Flounder Brewing presents its most cherished annual event over two nights this year. On December 22 and 23, 78 West Jazz performs the iconic A Charlie Brown Christmas album live in the barn. The atmosphere fills with nostalgic Vince Guaraldi melodies as The Fresh Fig prepares made-to-order charcuterie boards.

This event is FREE, it begins at 6:00 p.m. and is 21+ only.

Throughout the season, Bellemara Distillery and Flounder Brewing Co. will be open with their holiday menus, tastings, and seasonal offerings—adding warmth and cheer to every visit during Christmas at Carriage Farm.
