Chimney Rock Inn Oktoberfest

Prost! Eat at The Rock.

Raise a stein and say “Prost!” The traditional Bavarian toast meaning “Cheers!” and is the perfect way to kick off Oktoberfest at The Rock.

Chimney Rock Inn’s annual Oktoberfest celebration returns September 8th and runs through October 27th, 2026. Guests can join the festivities at all three Chimney Rock Inn locations: Bridgewater, Flemington, and Whippany. This year also marks Whippany’s first-ever Oktoberfest.

For more than 200 years, people have traveled to Munich, Germany to take part in the tradition and excitement of Oktoberfest. This fall, there’s no need to travel quite so far. Chimney Rock Inn is bringing the food, beer, music, and spirit of Oktoberfest right here to central New Jersey.

Warsteiner Keg Tapping Events

To kick off the festivities, Warsteiner will host ceremonial keg-tapping events at Chimney Rock Inn Flemington on Thursday, September 10th, Whippany on Monday, September 14th, and Bridgewater on Tuesday, September 15th. All three events will run from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Live Bavarian Music at The Rock

Each Chimney Rock Inn location will welcome live Bavarian music, bringing the sounds and spirit of Oktoberfest to The Rock. Performances are scheduled in Whippany on September 17, Flemington on October 1st, and Bridgewater on October 7th, with music from 6 PM to 10 PM at each location.

Guests can transport their taste buds to Bavaria with an LTO menu filled with traditional favorites and seasonal additions.

Guests can start with a Homemade Bavarian Pretzel, hand-twisted and baked until golden brown. The celebration continues with deliciously addictive handmade Potato Pancakes, a Bratwurst Sandwich, traditionally prepared to order Chicken Schnitzel, a Bratwurst Platter, & Homemade Goulash served over Spätzle.

Three new additions join the celebration this year: a surprise German street-food dish, indulgent Black Forest Cheesecake, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Warm Apple Strudel also returns, available on its own or à la mode.

Most dishes on the Oktoberfest menu are glutenless or can be prepared glutenless, including Chicken Schnitzel and Homemade Goulash served over Spätzle.

Guests can also raise a stein with four official Oktoberfest beers on tap, available by the half liter, full liter, or together in an Oktoberfest flight.

Official Oktoberfest beers on tap include:

· Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier

· Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest

· Spaten Oktoberfest

· Paulaner Oktoberfest

Also available:

· Sam Adams Octoberfest on tap

· Departed Soles Mars’N Attacks on tap (Glutenless)

· Non-Alcoholic Athletic Oktoberfest

All three locations will feature live music on select dates throughout the celebration. For guests hoping to test their strength in a stein-hoisting competition, stay tuned.

Live music dates, event announcements, and the complete Oktoberfest menu will be available at chimneyrockinn.com/eventcalendar
