Beginner-friendly women's pickleball and yoga morning in Somerset, NJ. No experience needed, paddles provided, come solo. Sat Sept 26, 9–11a Beginner-friendly women's pickleball and yoga morning in Somerset, NJ. No experience needed, paddles provided, come solo. Sat Sept 26, 9–11am. Pickle + Flow is a two-hour Saturday morning for women in Somerset County who want to move, try something new, and meet people — without needing to be athletic, coordinated, or already part of a group. We start on the mat with a guided yoga flow led by Sana Yoga, then move to the courts for beginner pickleball instruction. You'll learn how to hold the paddle, how scoring works, and how to actually play a point. Most people are picking up a paddle for the first time. That's the whole idea. What the morning looks like 9:00 — Arrival, coffee, name tags 9:15 — Yoga flow with Sana Yoga (all levels, modifications offered throughout) 10:00 — Beginner pickleball: rules, basic shots, and short friendly games 10:45 — Photo booth, giveaways, and time to swap numbers with people you met What's included with your ticket Yoga instruction Beginner pickleball coaching Paddles and balls — bring nothing but yourself Photo booth and giveaways Who this is for Women 18 and over. Complete beginners are the target audience, not an afterthought — if you have never played pickleball and haven't done yoga in years, you are exactly who we planned this for. Experienced players are welcome too, but this is not a competitive or drilling session. Coming alone is normal here. A good share of the room won't know anyone either, and the format is built so you meet people without having to work at it. What to bring and wear Comfortable athletic clothes you can stretch and move in, sneakers with good grip (not running shoes with heavy tread, if you have a choice), a water bottle, and a yoga mat if you have one — we have a limited number of loaners. Courts are outdoors, so dress for the weather. Where Colonial Park Tennis Center, 156 Mettlers Road, Franklin Township, NJ 08873. Free on-site parking. Courts are outdoor and ground-level; restrooms are on site. This morning gives back Proceeds support Safe+Sound Somerset, the Somerset County nonprofit providing free services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. You don't need any connection to that work to come — it's a fitness and social morning first, and the fundraising happens alongside it. Tickets $10 early bird through August 31, then regular price. All sales final, no refunds — if you can't make it, you're welcome to send a friend in your place. Also that evening We're running a separate pickleball + Latin dancing event later the same day — listed separately on our Eventbrite page if you'd like to make a full day of it. All sales are final. No refunds
