SBA Lender

Somerset Regal Bank is searching for a qualified candidate that will handle the Small Business Administration (SBA) lending by way of:

· Originating, closing, selling and servicing SBA loans in the Bank's lending area

· Overseeing the production of new SBA business as well as maintaining the existing portfolio’s loans and relationships

· Seeking out and attending networking and other community events to establish and expand potential clients within the Bank’s lending area

· Generating fee income through the sale of the guaranteed portion of the SBA loan in the secondary market, through servicing income, and interest income

· Ensuring the Bank's SBA portfolio retains its eligibility status to ensure Bank retains the guaranty in the event of a loss 

· Maintaining up to date knowledge of laws and regulations that pertain to SBA lending

· Serving as the main resource for government guaranteed loans

Minimum Qualifications:

· At least 5 years of managing and growing an SBA loan portfolio

· Extensive familiarity with SBA loan programs (7a and 504) and small business financing

· Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through negotiation, collaboration and self-motivation

· College degree with a focus in business, finance, professional services, or similar concentration preferred

· Must be able to travel to existing or potential client location(s) and/or business related events as needed
