Member Experience Associate

Job Description: The Member Experience Associate serves as the first point of contact for members, prospective members, and community stakeholders, ensuring a positive and professional experience with the Somerset County Business Partnership (SCBP). This position provides administrative support, assists with membership operations, coordinates event logistics, maintains databases and records, and helps deliver exceptional member service. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering strong relationships within the Somerset County business community. This is an in-person position.  

Reports to: Director of Member Services 

Responsibilities include: 

Membership: 

• Serve as the “front door” to the Somerset Business Hub by welcoming guests, assisting with functions and cleaning of space.    

• Manage calendar for all Somerset Business Hub programs and be point of contact for members using the space 

• Support the Director of Member Services with 
  • Collections of membership dues and sponsorships 
  • Onboarding of new members  
  • Other event assistance as needed 

Job qualifications:  

This is an entry-level position. 

Drivers license and the ability to attend events in the County as need.  

The ability to lift 20lbs and move furniture to set up for meetings.  

An individual with excellent communication and people skills that can deliver a program of work that provides value to our membership and the community at large and that increases our organizational capacity. 

Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn a CRM and other office programs.  

Starting Salary Range -  $45,000-$55,000
