Mechanical Engineering Instructor

Somerset County Vocational-Technical High School is looking for a Mechanical Engineering instructor for its Career and Technical Education (CTE) MEAM program.

QUALIFICATIONS:                        1. High School Diploma or equivalent

                                                                                   AND

                                                          Minimum of six (6) years of trade or field experience

  OR

    Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Science and two (2) years of approved  experience in trade.

                         OR

   Associate’s Degree in Applied Engineering Technology,     Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology and two (2) years of approved experience in trade.

2. Valid and appropriate New Jersey Teacher of Engineering    Technology certification (Endorsement Code 2545).

3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may  find appropriate and acceptable.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           Ten-month year.  In accordance with negotiated Agreement.
