Heating, Ventilation, AC and Refrigeration Instructor

Somerset County Vocational-Technical High School is looking for a Heating, Ventilation, AC and Refrigeration Instructor for its Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

QUALIFICATIONS:                        1. High School Diploma or equivalent

                                                                                   AND

                                                           Minimum of six (6) years of trade or field experience

OR

       Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanic Engineering and two (2) years of approved experience in trade.

                        OR

      Associate’s Degree in HVAC Technology and two (2) years of approved experience in trade.

2. Valid and appropriate New Jersey Teacher of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Endorsement Codes 2517, 2587, 2519) Oil and Gas Burner Mechanics (Endorsement Code 2647) Stationary Engineer (Endorsement Codes 2661, 2538) certification.

3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may                

             find appropriate and acceptable.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           Ten-month year.  In accordance with negotiated Agreement.
