Engraving & Production Associate

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Engraving & Production Associate to join our growing awards and recognition business. This position is responsible for operating engraving and printing equipment, preparing orders for production, assembling awards, packing shipments, maintaining a clean workspace, and assisting wherever needed to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to perform a variety of production and warehouse tasks.

Primary Responsibilities
Engraving & Personalization
Operate laser engraving machines and UV printers (training provided if necessary).
Set up artwork and personalization files.
Inspect engraving and printing for accuracy and quality.
Clean engraved products before packaging.
Troubleshoot minor production issues and notify management of equipment concerns.
Award Assembly
Assemble crystal, acrylic, wood, and metal awards.
Apply adhesives and assemble multi-piece products.
Install plates, bases, and decorative components.
Verify all personalization matches customer orders.
Packing & Shipping
Carefully package finished products to prevent damage.
Prepare shipping labels.
Pack orders according to company standards.
Assist with receiving incoming shipments.
Organize inventory and warehouse storage.
Production Support
Assist with cutting materials and preparing products for engraving.
Count inventory and restock production materials.
Help unload deliveries.
Prepare products for quality inspection.
Assist with production scheduling as assigned.
General Shop Duties
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
Sweep floors and empty trash.
Clean engraving equipment and workstations.
Organize tools and supplies.
Perform general maintenance and housekeeping throughout the shop.
Customer Support (Occasionally)
Assist customers picking up orders.
Answer basic production questions.
Help load customer orders into vehicles when needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a production environment.

Work Environment

This position works in a production shop where engraving machines, laser equipment, packaging stations, and warehouse activities are in operation. Safety procedures and proper equipment handling are required at all times.
