Digital Marketing Specialist

Role Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the planning, execution, and reporting of digital marketing campaigns across R&J's client portfolio, including commercial real estate, healthcare, nonprofit, and professional services organizations. Working closely with senior account leads, this role helps execute integrated digital marketing initiatives that combine paid media, owned content, analytics, and emerging AI-powered search strategies to drive measurable business results.

Core Responsibilities

Paid Media & Campaign Execution

Build, launch, and monitor paid digital advertising campaigns across major platforms, including Meta, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms as appropriate

Write and test ad copy, headlines, and calls to action that align with client objectives

Monitor campaign budgets, pacing, and performance

Conduct A/B testing of creative, copy, audiences, and landing pages

Identify optimization opportunities and implement campaign improvements under the guidance of senior team members

Stay informed about platform updates and emerging advertising features

Analytics & Reporting

Prepare campaign reports using Google Analytics (GA4) and advertising platform data

Monitor key performance metrics and summarize campaign results

Help identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Assist with developing client-friendly reports and presentation materials

Content & Digital Marketing

Assist in creating and optimizing owned content that supports visibility across traditional and AI-powered search

Support content development for websites, blogs, landing pages, email marketing, and social media campaigns

Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging digital marketing best practices

Coordinate creative assets and campaign materials with account teams

Perform quality assurance checks on campaigns and landing pages before launch

Client & Team Support

Support account teams with campaign execution, reporting, research, and presentation materials

Collaborate with designers, writers, and account managers to ensure campaigns launch accurately and on schedule

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for campaign optimization and digital marketing initiatives

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent internship or professional experience)

0–2 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, communications, or a related field

Familiarity with one or more digital advertising platforms, such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Basic familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) or a willingness to learn

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

Curiosity about emerging digital marketing technologies, including AI-powered search

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment

Preferred

Internship or previous experience in a marketing, communications, or advertising agency

Experience managing paid social or paid search campaigns

Familiarity with Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, Claude Design, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, or similar marketing tools

Experience working with nonprofit, healthcare, commercial real estate, or professional services organizations
