Business Manager

Position Summary

Noviello Financial Group, a successful financial planning and wealth management firm located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a Business Manager. We are looking for a professional with the energy & ability to support the Owner in managing and evolving the business for continued growth.


The Business Manager will be responsible for driving the firm forward on strategic matters, hiring and human resources management, technology enhancement, and process improvements for efficiency & productivity. The Business Manager will report to the Owner and will oversee and work closely with the full staff.


General Duties

  • Management 
    • Organize, research, communicate, and lead projects to completion.
    • Support the Owner with tactical practice management work by analyzing & reporting on business

 metrics, developing new policies & practices, and pursuing new productivity initiatives.

    • As needed, coordinate or cover for other staff/roles to ensure business continuity.
  • Operational 
    • Partner with the CPA/bookkeeper & staff to coordinate internal financial reporting, data tracking and analytics, and financial/tax filing requirements for the firm.
    • Assist team in creating and documenting optimal procedures for each department in the firm.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire the next generation of managers/staff for the firm and drive the training processes with the team.
    • Coordinate annual employee benefits renewals, staff performance reviews, and compensation programs.
    • Assist with staff search and recruitment processes for onboarding of new employees.
    • Maintain HR records and compliance requirements of the firm.
  • Marketing
    • Assist the Owner/Advisors with marketing and business development activities for the firm.
    • Monitor and maintain the firm’s website, marketing collateral, and image profile.
  • Technology
    • Liaison with outsourced technology firm to maintain, adopt, and evolve optimal office technologies.
    • Drive the testing, adoption, and training for bringing new technologies into the company.
  • Compliance
    • Maintain knowledge and training to keep firm in compliance with Broker Dealer, RIA, FINRA, and

other industry requirements. Assist with compliance audits as needed.

 

Minimum Requirements and Capabilities 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5 years of current & relevant work experience.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead a team through project phases and completion.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Suite skills, internet applications & research, and comfort with new technologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a small office environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strength in research, diligence, testing, financial evaluation/comparison, and synthesizing business concepts into a game plan that can be communicated and deployed to management and staff.
  • Highly attentive to details and accuracy, timeliness, a positive attitude, support of management, and a willingness to embrace the firm's values and mission.
  • Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods of time, lifting, and moving office files and supplies, and operating office machines and technology. Personal vehicle use at times.
  • Commute time under 30 minutes.

 

 

Compensation

  • Full time, in office with flexibility; M – F, 9 to 5, 1 day remote (after 6 months)
  • Salary: $100,000, based on skills and experience described above.
  • Bonus, based on firm Incentive Compensation Plan.
  • Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K + match, Life, STD, LTD, and CE support.
