Sustainable Somerset

Description

The Sustainable Somerset special interest group plans and develops programs focused on clean energy, energy audits, the legal aspects of ‘green’, and other subjects promoting a brighter, cleaner future. This group helps promote member companies that have either expertise or interest in these areas as well as encourage a partnership with the Somerset County Energy Council in the promotion of sustainability. Sustainable Somerset is also responsible for funding opportunities with utility companies and the NJ BPU programs. Meets second Tuesday of each month, 9:00-10:30 AM. Co-Chairs: Ed Seliga, Advanced Solar Products,Tim Dempsey, Verdantas and Walter Lane representing Somerset County's Planning Division.
