About the Program:
This engaging water discovery class is designed to help your little one build comfort and confidence in the water through guided, age-appropriate experiences and activities. Participants will learn to ask for permission before entering the water and practice entering and exiting the pool safely. Children will build comfort in the water while exploring submerging to the mouth, nose, and eyes — and eventually fully submerging. They will experience buoyancy on both their front and back, practice changing body positions, and learn how to play safely. The class also introduces wearing a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket and covers important age-appropriate water safety skills.
