FREE Naloxone Training

Description

Everyone Has the Power to Save a Life Learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose during this free Naloxone Training at the Somerset County Business Partnership Hub. Offered in a hybrid format, participants can attend either in person or virtually. During the training, participants will learn how to recognize an overdose, administer Narcan® (naloxone) nasal spray, perform rescue breathing when necessary, understand New Jersey’s Good Samaritan Law, and explore overdose prevention and harm reduction strategies. Everyone who completes the training will receive a free Narcan® kit.
