How to Begin Building Your Estate Plan

Discover how to proactively build a legacy for you and your family as well as maintain self-dignity and control. Explore with us the legal documents that you need to ensure that your estate planning goals are achieved and that your loved ones will act in accordance with your wishes. In this workshop, we identify common estate planning tools and develop a strategy for individuals to build a successful estate plan for you and your beneficiaries.

Michelle Scanlon is an Associate in the firm’s Elder Care & Special Needs Law and Estate Planning and Administration & Wealth Preservation practice groups, where she focuses her practice on assisting individuals and families with a range of complex estate and tax planning issues. She represents and advises her clients regarding matters related to estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, special needs planning, long-term care planning and advocacy, fiduciary representation, public benefits, including Medicaid, guardianships, and other elder care-related issues. She is licensed in NJ and NY.
